Aren’t you tired to be hidden in the shadow all the time? You were always in the dark.
Always following but never leading your own part.
Always moving but never stepping forward.
You were meant to lead but taught to bite your tongue
Your effort was never praised upon but trampled on instead
Now you’re sick and impatient with everything that has become
You just want to break out and yell to the world “This is me and listen!”
You want to be recognized
You want to be heard
But yet you can’t even open your mouth because you’ve been shut away for too long
It has become hard for you to speak so you keep everything bottle inside
Time is ticken’ but it feels like an enternity for you to open up
You’re slowly becoming intolerate with everything
You want to take another path where your path can reside
You’re tired of hoping, you need to take action
